KINLIN Parts Ways With YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Drummer PATRICK JOHANSSON
August 8, 2007Florida-based hard rock band KINLIN has issued the following update:
"Due to his continuous touring and session work, Patrick Johansson [drums; YNGWIE MALMSTEEN] and KINLIN have decided to part ways. We want to thank Patrick and wish him the best of luck in the future. We are extremely excited to announce the addition of Ali Nassar from EULOGY, 40 BELOW SUMMER, and TWO STORY DOUBLE WIDE. We are honored to have Ali share his talent with KINLIN. We are currently writing our second record and expect it to be released by the New Year. Keep posted for upcoming shows."
KINLIN's self-titled debut album was released in March 2006. Recorded and mixed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by guitarist/vocalist Dewayne Hart, the CD was described in a press release as "in-your-face hard rock that combines influences of the four members' totally different music styles."
